About Me

I live with my wife and three young children in Essex, England. For as long as I’ve been a father, the best part of my day is when I’m reading with my children.

Raising my children has become a great source of inspiration for me to write books that I hope other parents will enjoy reading with their children. 

I’m a former senior police officer in the Metropolitan Police Service and I continue to write extensively about counter terrorism and community safety so writing children’s books is a welcome departure from the heavy stuff!  

I enjoy visiting local schools and nurseries to read my stories with the children and to encourage them to come up with stories of their own.
